Security and protection
We keep your premises secure, your people safe, and your assets protected
From managing aviation security and ensuring the safety of your people on-site to keeping goods in your warehouse accounted for, a safe and secure environment is an incredibly important component of the experience created by a business.
When performed effectively, security is perhaps easy to overlook – however, exceptional security creates places and spaces that people enjoy being in and adds a significant layer of resilience to every business.
Across the world, our highly trained security professionals keep people and places safe and your operations running without disruption.
Here's how we keep people and places safe...
By creating safe experiences for your people
Whether they’re working, at school or university, doing their shopping, travelling, attending an event – or anything else besides – people need to be safe and secure. Our teams are fully trained in disability awareness, first aid, and mental wellbeing, so they can spot the signs of anyone who needs specific help.
By providing a range of on-site security services
Often, you need a presence to act as a deterrent. We provide a whole range of on-site security services including manned 24/7 guarding and mobile patrol, to keep your premises secure. Our security guards can also secure your premises at the end of the day, switching off electrical equipment, and securing the doors and windows – checking fire exits and testing alarm systems too – to keep your site safe.
By using best-of-breed technology
Our range of physical security options are complemented by best-in-class technology solutions. From video surveillance systems, intruder alarms and door access controls to remote monitoring, we use a range of technology to help create the best experience possible. Our guard management app, meanwhile, includes geo-tracking, which enables the nearest security guard to be dispatched to an incident.
By keeping your security systems performing at their best
We carry out regular planned maintenance on your installed systems so they remain compliant and operating well. We maintain your intruder alarms, door access controls, CCTV, fire prevention systems and any other technology you have in place for security purposes.
By only recruiting the best
Wherever possible, we carefully recruit and train our own security teams, meaning we only provide you with security personnel we know are trained, reliable and fully briefed. Our people are provided with regular training, ensuring they’re on top of the latest regulations, legislation and advancements in technology.
By sharing analytics to inform decisions
We collect and analyse data to provide insights into customer behaviour. This technology allows us to count the people that come through your doors and use heat mapping, enabling us to predict where queues are about to form, and manage people effectively to improve transit times. This data can also give you invaluable information about customer demographics for your own marketing and product development.
CASE STUDY
Protecting world leaders at the 2021 G7 Summit, UK
From football matches to stadium concerts, our security team manages events of all sizes. One of the most high-profile was the G7 Summit in the UK in 2021.
The three-day event, held at Carbis Bay, St Ives, Cornwall, posed high-risk security challenges. We were engaged to provide full security, and the event passed safely without incident. Here’s how we did it.
- 748 security guards deployed to keep world leaders, the Queen and members of the Royal Family safe
- A further 120 guards on standby
- 18 manned X-ray machines and 18 archway metal detectors
- 3 Evolv Edge detection machines
- 24 CCTV towers with thermal imaging capabilities plus remote monitoring
- 246 Perimeter Intruder Detection (PID) systems
Despite a number of widespread protests during the course of the event, there were no major security breaches and our team kept control of the crowds, leading to personal thanks to the team from the then UK Prime Minister, Boris Johnson.
